You call dispatch
Tell us what needs moving, which street it leaves from and which it goes to, how high up the flat is and whether a lift works. Where the vehicle can stop matters too: a closed courtyard or a street with no parking changes the plan.
Dispatch picks the vehicle
The dispatcher matches a vehicle to the load and tells you the hourly price. A heavy wardrobe or a building with no lift? Ask for movers or the electric stair climber too.
We fix the day and time
The driver comes straight to the address at the agreed hour. For an early morning start, call the day before.
We load and unload
The driver straps everything down so nothing knocks about over potholes. At the other end the goods stay at the entrance or, if you booked movers, go all the way up to the room.
Cargo transport prices in Chisinau: the hour, and what can be added
You pay for the hours of vehicle and driver, at the rate on the card you picked. The minimum order is one hour; the truck is booked for at least two.

What can be added to the hour
Movers
250 MDL an hour per person, or 300 MDL if they also dismantle and reassemble furniture. Booked for one hour at least.
Floors without a lift
An hour of the electric stair climber is 600 MDL. For furniture too big for the stairwell there is the mobile lift: its hour starts at 950 MDL and it is booked for two hours or more.
Leaving the city
Inside Chisinau one hourly rate covers every district. Outside the city the rate changes, as explained below under areas.

In town the hourly rate does not change with where we load or unload. What changes from one area to the next is the way from the vehicle to your door, so it helps to describe it from the start.

Centru
Narrow streets, little parking and old houses with steep stairs and no lift. Tell us whether the vehicle can drive into the courtyard or has to stay on the street, so we know how many people to send.

Botanica, Ciocana, Râșcani
Blocks of nine floors and more, where a wardrobe or a sofa bed will not fit in the lift. Big furniture then goes up the stairs or in through the balcony with the mobile lift.

Telecentru and Poșta Veche
Houses with yards and gates, sometimes on sloping streets. If the gate is wide enough, the van drives in and we load right by the door.

Villages around the city
Bubuieci, Ghidighici, Sîngera and the other villages on the city's edge cost a little more: no more than an extra 100 MDL an hour. The truck's rate does not change at all.

To Ungheni, Soroca or any village in the country you pay by the kilometre, starting at 14 MDL per km depending on the vehicle.

What should I say on the phone to get a price?
Four details are enough: what you are moving, the pickup and drop-off addresses, the floor and whether a lift works. With those the dispatcher picks the vehicle, quotes the hourly rate and says if movers would help. Before a big move, someone can come round free of charge and judge the volume in person. If the load is unusual, describe its size and weight and how we can get to it.
Can you collect furniture straight from the shop?
Yes, from any furniture shop or warehouse in Chisinau. Give us the shop's address and yours, and the vehicle arrives when your order is ready. If a vehicle is free, it can even be the same day. Movers carry the pieces up to the room and, if you like, assemble the bed or wardrobe on the spot.
How do you move a fridge without damaging it?
Upright and strapped in, so the cooling system comes to no harm. You empty and unplug it beforehand; we tie the door shut so it cannot swing open on the way. Without a lift it goes up on the electric stair climber, which handles up to 300 kg. After the trip, let it stand for a few hours before you switch it on.
I only have a few boxes. Can I ride along?
Yes, there are at most 2 free seats beside the driver, so you can travel with your things. A van is plenty for a few boxes, and if you load them yourself you pay nothing for movers. The minimum hour is charged either way, so it pays to put everything into one trip. If several people are coming along, ask for the Boxer with double cab.
How do we move an office without losing a working day?
Book the move for a Saturday or Sunday, early enough to secure the date, and the working week carries on. Movers take modular desks apart, carry computers separately from the furniture and set everything up again at the new address. You label the cables and back up the data; we handle the rest. Let us know how many desks and computers there are, so we send enough people.
Is there anything you do not carry?
Two things: over 5 tonnes in one vehicle at once, and earth or rubble tipped loose into the back. A heavier batch is split across two trips or two vehicles, while earth and rubble go only in a tipper truck, charged separately. For anything else, from a piano to pallets of stock, describe it to the dispatcher and the right vehicle will be found.
